PREMISE: Our site allows individuals and/or businesses to list unwanted items for sale. Each seller is able to offer items sold to be picked up from home, a public meeting place or may offer a neutral third party SAFE pickup location such as Funkytown Markets for buyer pickup.
YOU MUST READ THIS!
RULES: It is the buyer’s responsibility to pick up the items. All purchases are “buyers beware”. It is up to the purchaser to check over all items prior to accepting the item. While we do our best to keep poor quality or illegal items off the site, it is not our responsibility to review items for recalls, damage or otherwise. Funkytown Markets does not take responsibility for any transactions. Each seller is required to specify where the item can be picked up and buyers are agreeing to pickup at that location by bidding on an item. You may bid on any item but you must be willing to pick it up in the advertised city. If a seller does not wish to have pickup at their home, they can ask to meet at a public meeting place or for a small fee, they may opt to drop off SOLD items at Funkytown Markets for pickup by the buyer. Pickup location must be specified in every listing. It is the buyer’s responsibility to pick up the items.
LIABILITY: You will not hold Funkytown Markets responsible for other users’ content, actions or inactions, or items they list. You acknowledge that we are not a traditional auctioneer. Instead, this site is a venue to allow anyone to offer, sell, and buy just about anything, at any time. We are not involved in the actual transaction between buyers and sellers. We have no control over and do not guarantee the quality, safety or legality of items advertised, the truth or accuracy of users’ content or listings, the ability of sellers to sell items, the ability of buyers to pay for items, or that a buyer or seller will actually complete a transaction. Operation of the sites may be interfered with by numerous factors outside of our control. We are not liable for any loss of money, goodwill, or reputation, or any special, indirect, or consequential damages arising out of your use of our sites.
